In the early stages of vaccines, there was a lot of unknown aspects that went along with the vaccines. In some cases, vaccines have ended up giving individuals the disease that they're trying to prevent. For example, the polio vaccine in it's early stages ended up giving individuals the disease due to lack of quality control. Nowadays, quality control has increased and ideas like vaccines relating to autism has been scientifically proven to be incorrect.
