As you may know, the new craze for getting high or receiving your daily nicotine are e-cigs, but most people don't understand what they really contain and do to your body. There are many studies to truly find the true effects, but as of now scientists believe that e-cigs can lead to lung cancer and other serious issues. One thing many people don't know is what is in them, they contain metals and other hazardous things for the body, and there are currently no FDA regulations to control the substances. This causes for a lack of understanding, which leads to the current debate of whether or not e-cigs should be federally regulated. E-cigs have an impact on the human body, especially the lungs, as the substances can coat the lungs and make it harder to breathe. Bottom line, e-cigs have implications that need to be further explored, but as for now are considered "safer" than tobacco cigarettes for the smoker and the bystanders.
