Is Fasting Truly Effective at Preventing Diseases in the Body or Does it Promote Them?

In recent years, the subject of dietary restriction and fasting in particular has surged in importance because of its affects on diseases and disorders. The growing phenomenon of "clean eating", dietary culture, and fasting is based on a variety of studies pointing to fasting curing disorders and disabilities such as autism, learning disabilities, anxiety, and depression. Also, nutritionalists have shown that fasting especially with the addition of antibiotics has become one of the most effective methods for preventing, treating, and curing diseases. However, multiple scientists argue that the there are serious side effects and detrimental consequences. Throughout this ThingLink, it will explore this debate between well educated nutritionists and respected scientists regarding the effects fasting and determining whether fasting overall is good or bad for the human body.
