The Effects of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy

Photo From Biggest Football Hits Ever
Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy or CTE is a disease caused by massive head trauma that has happened repeatedly for over a long period of time. This causes the brain to decay at an abnormal rate and often causes the patients to go crazy and eventually commit suicide. These cases are most likely seen in football players and professional fighters. There is no way to determine wether a patient has CTE or not unless there is a physical examination of the brain in which the patient needs to be deceased in order to do so. Also, there is no known cure for this disease other than anti-depressents and other drugs to stable the victims mind. This topic has just gotten popular due to the movie Concussion and has had many more studies towards it by doing so.
